The attractions
Evagelistrias Church
A very beautiful church located near Villa Amelia. The church is built among tall trees and you can enjoy coffee and brunch with great seaview at the small coffee shop, a few steps above the church.
Kastro – Skiathos old town
This is a great activity for you to enjoy and explore Skiathos old town. Just keep in mind you have to leave your car at some point and then walk 10 minutes to reach the old town, but its totally worthing it.
Boat Trips
Most Skiathos visitors like to take boat trips around the island to visit beaches not reachable without a boat, like Lalaria beach and Tsougria beach. Everyday you can find many boats at the port that offer trips for a few hours or for the whole day. If you want you can hire a private boat for your trip.
Local Products
You should definitely enjoy wine tasting with local wines at Parissis Winery. The winery has an amazing view to the sea from the hill and its near villa Amelia.
Beaches
Skiathos Island offers many options for splendid beaches to relax. You should visit Koukounaries beach that also offers watersports upon rental. Troulos sandy beach and Agia Paraskeyh can combine swimming and lunch by the sea. All beaches of Skiathos are nearby, if you want to drive a little bit longer you should visit beach Mikros Aselinos and Mandraki beach.

If you prefer not to drive, the wonderful Agnadio restaurant is only a 20 min walk away and if you are looking for a traditional taverna, Anatoli Taverna is only 10 min walk from the villa.
If you want to use your car, the center of Skiathos is 5 minutes by car. There you can find many options from seafood or Greek Souvlaki. We recommend Isola Restaurant right under the St Nicolas Church, with panoramic view of the port. Also you can drive 15 minutes and visit Troulos area with many options, such as the awarded SaltandPepper Restaurant with Mediterranean Greek cuisine.
ISLAND HOPPING
The island of Skopelos is recommended for a day trip. You can rent a boat or use the Ferry and enjoy memorable nature and beaches.
